Quick Landlord Update for 2025
The new Renters’ Right Bill, set to be enacted in 2025 introduces significant Changs that landlords and agents need to be aware of: * Abolition of Section 21 ‘No-Fault’ Evictions
Landlords will no longer be able to evict tenants without cause. Only Section 8 evictions will be allowed, requiring a valid reason and more complex legal procedures. Expect longer notice periods and higher costs.
* End of Fixed-Term Tenancies
All tenancies will become periodic, granting tenants greater flexibility to leave with two months’ notice. Landlords will be required to give at least four months’ notice for evictions related to rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, or personal reasons.

Ask yourself
Change the way you look at your business. Start by asking the questions you always wanted to know but just didn’t know how to get to the answer:
Then PLAN FOR OBJECTIVE
Planning For Your Objective
Starting a business is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming—especially when it comes to managing finances. Many small business owners are passionate about their products or services, but may feel lost when it comes to financial planning. This is where an accountant can be a game-changer.
An accountant does more than just crunch numbers; they provide strategic financial guidance that can help your business grow. Here’s how they can help a small business owner who isn’t a finance expert:
One of the first things an accountant can do is help set up a robustbookkeeping system. This includes selecting the right software, tracking expenses, managing cash flow, and ensuring that invoices and payments are handled efficiently.
Without a clear budget, it’s easy to overspend or miss out on important investments. An accountant can help you create a realistic budget that reflects your goals and keeps your business on track. They can also forecast future revenue and expenses, helping you prepare for the road ahead.
Taxes can be a headache for any business owner. An accountant ensures that you’re compliant with tax laws and helps you take advantage of available deductions and credits. They’ll also assist in filing tax returns and planning for quarterly taxes to avoid surprises.
One of the top reasons small businesses fail is poor cash flow management. An accountant helps you keep an eye on your cash flow, ensuring you have enough to cover expenses and payroll. They’ll also provide insights into when to cut costs or make strategic investments.
As your business grows, so do your financial responsibilities. An accountant can develop a long-term financial plan that aligns with your vision. Whether it’s saving for expansion, managing debt, or setting up a retirement plan, their expertise will help you stay financially healthy.
Having an accountant by your side frees you up to focus on what you do best—running your business—while knowing that your finances are in capable hands.We understand that not everybody with a great business idea has a background in finance. If you are struggling to get a grip on your personal finances, why not ask an accountant. Someone who is trained to look at the whole picture.
Accountants are not merely the number crunchers for your business and tax compliance, i.e paying to get a job done, we can be so much more…
